Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuaries
Founded in 1914, Rose Hills started as an 18-acre memorial park serving the Whittier, California area. Today, Rose Hills Memorial Park is one of the largest cemeteries in the country, and people from all over Southern California are buried there.
DAR - John Greenleaf Whittier Chapter
The John Greenleaf Whittier Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is the local DAR chapter. Any woman 18 or older who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership.

Richard Nixon Presidential Library & Museum
The museum is in Yorba Linda, Nixon's birthplace. The family moved to Whittier in 1922, and Nixon lived in Whittier for many years, serving as the Deputy City Attorney in 1938.
