Join us for our WAGS Annual Holiday Tradition!
We are encouraging WAGS members and friends to join us in our December Show & Tell and Holiday Party.
Member participation is what makes this event successful.
Share information you found out about your family tree this past year, a brick wall breakthrough, a family story, or a family treasure. Presentations should be about five minutes long. To sign up, contact our Program Director, Christine Cohen, at program@wagswhittier.org.
The doors to the Sorensen Library Meeting Room will open at noon on December 20th. The Zoom meeting link will become active by 12:30 p.m. WAGS members will receive meeting reminders via email in December.
More About Our Show & Tell
We encourage everyone to share. You do not have to be a polished speaker. We just want to hear your story. You can talk about your life or an ancestor's life. You can share about a family heirloom, something interesting you found while researching your family, or share a tip that helped you break through a brick wall.
You can share whether you show up in person at the library or sign on to the meeting via Zoom.
You do not have to have an actual heirloom or a photo of it in order to talk about it - but if you do, we would love to see it. You do not have to create a PowerPoint presentation, but if you want to use one, we can accommodate you.
We prefer that you sign up in advance, but if we have time after our scheduled speakers, we may be able to include your Show & Tell story as well.
