What's new at WAGS?
It's Not Too Late to Register for Our Annual Seminar!
The theme for our 43rd Annual Seminar on January 31, 2026, will be
"Artificial Intelligence for Genealogy."
Our speakers will be Peggy Jude, John Beaumont, and Kate Penney Howard.
We will be having a drawing at the end of the seminar and will be giving away several valuable door prizes.

January Writing Tips and Tricks were updated on December 21st.
We have updated the listing of door prizes for our upcoming seminar on January 31st.
We already have fifteen great gifts for genealogists to give away - and we're not done yet!
Thanks to WAGS member Miriam Benell, we have updated the Past Seminars page with the names of all of our seminar speakers from our first seminar in 1983 to our most recent seminar in 2025, filling in the previous gap between 1991 and 2006. We have also included many of the topics presented at these seminars.

The January 2026 issue of WAGS Family Tales has been added to the Members Only section of the website. It is now available for members to view or download.
Note for Members about the Surname Database:
To add surnames to the Surname Database, you must be logged in to the WAGS website.
Enter your surnames at the bottom of your Member Profile page.
**Remember to scroll down and click on Save when you are done entering.**
You will not be able to see your own surnames in the Surname Database unless you are logged out of the WAGS website.
