WAGS members and the public are invited to attend any of our Life Story Writers Group Meetings. These meetings create supportive spaces for members to share writing about their personal life stories, or those of their family members and ancestors. Attendees are welcome to share their writing or to listen to others for inspiration.

Writing prompts are offered each month to help inspire your writing. The writing prompts are meant to be suggestions only. Members are welcome to share their writing on any topic related to their own lives or the lives of their family members. The current writing prompts are listed below.

Mother's Day, May 10th

• Write a story about your mother.
• Choose a favorite memory or write about a humorous event in her life.
• Include pictures or a vivid description of your mother.

Memorial Day, May 25th

• Did you serve in the armed forces?
• Write about one of your experiences while in the service.
• Tell a story about a relative who served.
• How do you observe Memorial Day?
